The Knowledge, Skills and Understanding domain of the AGEE Framework considers learning areas and levels for girls and boys in relation to formal instruction and informal formation of attitudes.  Knowledge, skills and understanding includes, for example: learning outcomes in literacy, numeracy, science and all areas covered by the curriculum; knowledge and skills in other key areas such as sustainable development, home languages, civics and health; understanding of gender equality, women’s rights, human rights, empowerment, tolerance and peace.
